Malika IZABACHENE
I am currently an Assistant Professor at Cergy Paris University, a position I have held since September 2025. I am affiliated with the ICI team within the ETIS Research Laboratory, a joint research unit of CYU, ENSEA, and CNRS, and I teach in the Department of Computer Science.
My research focuses on cryptography, with particular emphasis on homomorphic encryption, post-quantum cryptography, and privacy-preserving protocols. I am especially interested in developing secure and practical cryptographic solutions that can be applied to real-world systems.
Prior to my current position, I served as chief cryptographer at Cosmian, a start-up based in France, and I was involved in teaching activities at École Polytechnique until September 2025.
More information on my previous positions and professional experience can be found here.
